Amanda: Hi Mike! I can't believe you're watching "The Lion King." Aren't you getting too old for Disney movies?

Mike: Nah, sometimes it's fun to be a kid again, and I've always found cartoons really entertaining. When I was little, most of my time would revolve around watching Disney cartoons.

Amanda: Yeah, me too. I was an avid watcher of cartoons. My all-time favorite is "Beauty and the Beast." When I was little, I wanted to be a princess－going to Disneyland was like a dream come true! I was so thrilled that I got to meet Cinderella, but I don't think my parents were too happy－they ended up having to buy me lots of Disney merchandise like Cinderella backpacks and toys.

Mike: "Cinderella's" too girly for me－I used to love watching "Aladdin." Imagine having a genie that could fulfill all your wishes. Wouldn't that be awesome? I'd ask it to do my homework for me every night!

Amanda: Speaking of homework, we're sitting here watching cartoons when we should be studying for tomorrow's math test.

Mike: Oh no, I completely forgot about that! Everything is hunky dory in cartoons－I wish real life were like that, too.
