THE lark has sung his carol in the sky;

百灵鸟在空中唱着他的圣歌

The bees have hummed their noontide harmony;

蜜蜂嗡嗡地发出正午和谐的声调

Still in the vale the village bells ring round,

静静的山谷村民敲响钟声

Still in Llewellyn Hall the jests resound:

静静的卢爱林大厅回荡着笑声

For now the caudle-cup is circling there;

大厅到处是酒杯在绕转

Now, glad at heart, the gossip breathe their prayer,

And, crowding, stop the cradle to admire

A few short years, and then these sounds shall had

And, basking in the chimney's ample blaze,
