故事原文

John and his grandson Jack live in a small village. John is at the age of sixty; Jack is a teenager. Jack likes monkeys, so John decides to catch one for him. There are some monkeys in a forest near the village. One day, John went out with a bag of oranges. He crossed a bridge and went to the forest. He put the oranges on the ground and pretended to sleep. Some time later, a little monkey jumped from a tree to eat the oranges. He didn't know he was in danger. John caught him at once and took him home. Jack named him George and suggested to John that they put George into a large cage. Though George could have fruits and vegetables, he still used his body language to tell them to send him home. But nothing changed. Poor George! Poor man!
