Laws should be flexible enough to take account of various circumstances, times, and places.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

五问：

（4）请你说说为什么在两个看似几乎一致的条件下，利用同一款法律条文却有可能得到程度不一、甚至结果不同的评判？请你罗列几个可能的因素。例如：公众观点、社会舆论、对证据的不同解读等。

（5）你认为，在何种程度上变更法律是最合适的？应该考虑哪些方面？例如：法律条文的执行力度和实施等。另外，很多问题要用发展的眼光来看待，那么解决这些问题所依赖的法律是否也应有所发展变化。

虽然人们期望法律是周密的、无瑕疵的，涵盖所有可变因素，但是因为不可预见的法律漏洞，一些不道德、不公正的判决确实发生过，也可能会再次发生，这是可以容忍的。
