1　fast 作形容词时，指人或物体运动的速度很快。

It is a fast train. 这是一列快车。

She is the fastest runner in our school. 她是我们学校跑得最快的选手。

2　quick 强调动作的突然、迅速或短促，也可指动作的敏捷，指某动作在较短的时间内发生或完成。

John had a quick meal and then went out again. 约翰匆匆吃完了饭，然后又出去了。

She walked with short, quick steps. 她迈着碎步急促地走着。

The child is quick to learn. 这孩子一学就会。
