1　evening 表示“傍晚，晚上”，指从日落到就寝这段时间。evening 常与in 连用，但在特定的晚上要用on。

I usually take a walk in the evening . 我晚上通常散散步。

They will have a party on the evening of April 15. 他们将在4月15日晚上举行一个聚会。

2　night 表示“夜，夜间”，指从日落到日出这段时间。

Did you watch the football match last night ? 你昨晚观看足球赛了吗？
