指给某人发消息，而对方却未给予回复，也指发消息的APP上显示消息“未读”。

例：

I don’t know what happened. I met this girl and we started texting a lot. She left me on read because she hasn’t opened my messages in four days.

我不知道是咋回事，我跟这个女孩认识之后，我俩就经常发消息。但她已经四天没看我的消息了，一直显示未读。
