Last Monday, When school ended, I came back home with some of my classmates. On the way, we saw an old woman lying on the ground. Her leg was badly hurt and couldn’t get up. We hurried to help her. We wanted to get in touch with her family member, but she was too weak to say a word. Lin Lao called 120 and asked for help. A moment later, an ambulance came and took her to the hospital. I got home late that day. My mum asked me why I was late. I told her everything. She was very glad and said, “What a helpful boy you are! You did a good thing. When someone is in trouble, we should try our best to help him.” It’s good to help others. I felt very happy.
