    1 Sichuan Earthquake  （汶川地震）
    An M8 earthquake hit Sichuan at 14:28 on May 12, 2008, causing nearly 70,000 deaths and the loss of over five million homes. This disaster followed the snowstorm in South China of early 2008.
    2008年5月12日14时28分，四川发生8级特大地震。近7万人遇难，500多万人失去家园。就在这场灾难发生前不久，南中国刚刚遭遇了冰冻灾害。
