      The blind man and the cub

      There was once a blind man who had so fine a sense of touch that, when any animal was put into his hands, he could tell what it was merely by the feel of it. Sam thinks and says, "You are right. Let's be friends." They become good friends.

      A Tough Teacher

      A school teacher friend of mine in juried his back and had to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body. On his first day of the term, still with the cast under his shirt, he was assigned to teach the most undisciplined class. Stepping confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window as wide as possible. Just then, a strong breeze made his tie flap.       The Cock and the Pearl
