载有中国游客的大巴在老挝发生撞车事故，13人死亡，2人失踪

A tour bus carrying 46 people, 44 of whom are Chinese tourists, crashed on the way to the city of Luang Prabang in Laos on Monday afternoon, killing at least 13 people and injuring 29. All of the injured have been hospitalized.

周一下午，一辆载有46人(其中44人是中国游客)的旅游大巴，在前往老挝琅勃拉邦的途中发生撞车事故，造成至少13人死亡，29人受伤。所有伤者都已住院治疗。

As of Tuesday morning, two people remain missing, according to local authorities.

据当地政府称，截至周二上午，仍有两人失踪。

A rescue operation is underway after the crash. The Chinese Consulate General to Luang Prabang led a quick response team to the scene, conducting search and rescue operations.

The bus was traveling from Vientiane when it crashed 40 km from its destination. Initial reports suggested brake failure was the cause.

这辆公共汽车从万象出发，在离目的地40公里处撞车。初步报告显示，事故原因是刹车失灵。
