B: I know. I’ve never met anyone with such awful manners in my life.
我知道，我一生中从来没碰到过对人这么没礼貌的人。

A: I hate wasting my time waiting for people who are constantly late.
我讨厌把时间浪费在等那些经常迟到的人上。
B: Are you talking about me?
你在说我吗？
A: Of course I am talking about you. I’ve been waiting here for an hour, you inconsiderate jerk!
我当然是说你！我在这儿等了一个小时了，你这个不顾别人的傻瓜！
B: I’m sorry. I’m sorry! I just didn’t realize the time.
我很抱歉，我很抱歉，我只是没意识到时间而已。

A: They hate each other.
他们讨厌彼此。
B: Really? But I saw them walking on the street, hand in hand.
真的吗？但我看到他们手拉手在街上走。

Kim’s Note: I know this word is not used in the same way and with nearly as much frequency in Chinese. It is a culture difference. Americans use this word even when they are describing something they only dislike slightly.
我知道，在中国这个词的用法不一样，使用频率也没那么高。这是个文化差异的问题。美国人哪怕只是形容他们有一点点不喜欢的事也会用这个词来表达。
