A: I hate wasting my time waiting for people who are constantly late.
我讨厌把时间浪费在等那些经常迟到的人上。
B: Are you talking about me?
你在说我吗?
A: Of course I am talking about you. I’ve been waiting here for an hour, you inconsiderate jerk!
我当然是说你!我在这儿等了一个小时了,你这个不顾别人的傻瓜!
B: I’m sorry. I’m sorry! I just didn’t realize the time.
我很抱歉,我很抱歉,我只是没意识到时间而已。
A: They hate each other.
他们讨厌彼此。
B: Really? But I saw them walking on the street, hand in hand.

Kim’s Note: I know this word is not used in the same way and with nearly as much frequency in Chinese. It is a culture difference. Americans use this word even when they are describing something they only dislike slightly.
