College Students Taking Double-degree Programs

Nowadays,it is quite common for college students to take double-degree programs. If they can take all the classes and pass all the exams for two majors, they will receive two degrees upon graduation.

This phenomenon has arisen due to students' intention of using their time in college asefficiently as possible to prepare for their future careers, or at least become more competitive.

From my point of view, the decision to pursue a double degree should be made only after weighing all the pros and cons. A double degree may be very useful, but students will most likely acquire such degrees at the expense of all the other extra-curricular activities. They may end up as qualified students, but they may not enjoy comprehensive development at the same time.
