Dear Mr．Zhang，

I'm one of the students you have taught，Li Ming．On this special day for teachers，I want to show my gratitude to you from the bottom of my heart．

It is self-evident that you have a great influence on my life path．Not only the lessons in the textbook did you teach me but also the life lessons．Following your serious attitude towards the subject and strict rules towards life，we have seen a man of great personal charm．There is no doubt that you have set an example for us and been the goal I'm always going after．On the other hand，during my three years' study，you developed me to a confident and brave girl through your considerate care and endless patience．I always remember that when I hesitated to sign for the speech contest，it was you that encouraged me though I was a pretty shy girl．It was also you that helped me with my poor oral English before I volunteered to receive the foreign students．Without your introduction，I wouldn't be the person I am now．So fortunate am I to meet you at the important turn of my life．My sincere gratitude to you is totally beyond words．
