With the popularity of cell phones，people are more and more annoyed by the very phones that they have bought．Cell phones today are more a kind of automatic junk message receiver than a means of communication．

Several factors contribute to this unpleasant situation．First of all，the nature of the messaging system determines that it is a cheap yet effective way of public propaganda．Small businesses which cannot afford a TV advertisement naturally turn their attention to message-advertising．And equally importantly，the mobile service providers，take China Mobile as an example，encourage such kind of advertising in secret since it can bring tremendous profit to the company．As a result，the advertisers and the providers form an evil partnership in this win-win situation，regardless of the helpless users．

It won't be easy to completely tackle the problem，but much can be done to improve the situation．On one hand，protocols and legislations are to be made to prohibit the telecom carriers from earning money through illegal messages．The making of junk messages should also be severely punished．On the other hand，we consumers should never believe or follow these messages so that the market may shrink and vanish finally．

Technologies are not introduced to ruin our life．Let's join efforts to resist the invasion of junk messages and restore the purity of technology．
