Hello，everyone．I feel greatly honored to enter the final competition for the title “The Most Popular Student of This Year”．It's nice to give a clearer idea of my strong points through my following speech．

To begin with，I'm one of the top students in my grade．As a straight-A student in Class 12，Grade 3，I expect to share my learning experience with all of my schoolmates，especially the freshmen．Nevertheless，good grades alone don't make the most popular student．In fact，I pride myself on mastering communication skills and possessing the ability to deal with a variety of difficult problems．It was I who once persuaded hundreds of passers-by to donate money to a charity project of our school；it was I who led our class to survive the survival training；it was I who set up a group to inspire the students to live a green life and do what we preach．I believe I'll not let you down if you vote for me．What's more，I am ready to help others．Whether you have trouble in your study or your life on campus，just come to me and I will be the best listener and extend a helping hand．I have so far always succeeded in lighting up a friend's sad face．
