My hometownis an economic-open-zone. It is a town on the sea with a population of threehundred thousand. Before the liberation it used to be a fishing village. Mostpeople lived on fishing. There was no industry. And there were only few primaryschools here.

Since theopen-door policy, a lot of foreign businessmen invested here. A lot offactories have been built. Economics have developed rapidly and big port hasalso been built, which is connected with many ports of other ports both in andout of our country. A new university now has been founded. Three thousandstudents have already graduated from it. I am sure in the near future ourhometown will become more modern.
