Reading Interests of Senior Middle School Students

Recently, a survey hasbeenone I have been dreaming of.

ln this survey,onethousand senior middle school students from ten schools in Hubei Province wereinterviewd. They were asked which they liked reading most among the fourcategories of English articles: news, stories, popular science articles andarticles about learning methods.

The survey shows thatmore than half of the students like to read news most. Twenty-six percent ofthe students say that English stories are their favorite. Only seven percent ofthe students are most interested in reading articles about learning methods.However, the number of the students who enjoy reading popular science articlesdoubles that of those who prefer reading articles about learning methods.

高中学生的阅读兴趣

最近，一项调查一直是我的梦想。

在这次调查中，来自湖北省十所学校的一千名高中生接受了采访。他们被问及在新闻、故事、科普文章和学习方法文章这四类英语文章中，他们最喜欢读哪一类。

调查显示，超过一半的学生喜欢阅读新闻。26%的学生说英语故事是他们最喜欢的。只有7%的学生最感兴趣的是阅读关于学习方法的文章。然而，喜欢阅读科普文章的学生人数是喜欢阅读学习方法文章的学生人数的两倍。
