     When I hear that someone says, "My friend falls, I laugh; my phonefalls, I cry." I feel rather annoyed and surprised. What he says suggeststhat he cares little about others' pain or trouble, even if they're hisfriends. Moreover, it seems that he always thinks more of himself than ofothers.

     Personally, it is completely wrong of him to behave with such an attitudetowards others and life. As a matter of fact, none of us can live alone insociety. We all depend on others sometimes to some degree. If everyone does andthinks as he does, he'll not live any longer in the world.

     I argue that every one of us should try our best to help those in need.Then we can have someone to turn to when in trouble. Otherwise we'll have toanswer for our selfishness sooner or later. That is what the saying goes:"A friend in need is a friend indeed." Only when you learn to givecan you expect to receive.

当我听到有人说:“我的朋友摔倒了，我笑了;我的手机掉了，我哭了。”我感到很恼火和惊讶。他的话表明，他对别人的痛苦或麻烦并不关心，即使他们是他的朋友。而且，他似乎总是把自己看得比别人多。

就我个人而言，他以这样的态度对待他人和生活是完全错误的。事实上，没有人能在社会上独自生活。我们有时都在某种程度上依赖别人。如果每个人都像他一样思考，他就活不下去了。

我认为我们每个人都应该尽最大努力帮助那些有需要的人。这样当我们遇到麻烦时就可以求助了。否则我们迟早要为我们的自私付出代价。俗话说:“患难见真情。”只有当你学会给予，你才能期待得到。
