Most students of our school， including me， think it is not right to build a chemical works near our school.Although the works will make a lot of money for our city， we do think it will do us more harm than good.The drinking water will be badly polluted.Of course， they have promised to do something to prevent the water from being polluted.But it is far from enough.On the other hand， the air over the city will be polluted， too.We'll never be able to breathe the fresh air.How can we live here any longer？What's more， the site of the chemical works has been the only place where we students play games and have sports after school.If it is occupied， we will have no place to play in.
我们学校的大部分学生，包括我，都觉得在学校附近建化工厂是不对的。尽管这样会给我们城市带来很多钱，但是我们要考虑到它给我们带来的损失会比好处多。饮用水会被严重的污染。当然，他们会承诺采取措施来保护水污染。但是这是远远不够的。从另一方面来说，城市里的空气也会被污染。我们再也不能够呼吸到新鲜的空气了。我们还能在这里住多久呢？此外，化工厂所要建的地方是我们学生放学后唯一可以玩游戏，做运动的地方。如果这个地方被占用了，我们将没有地方玩了。
