Pavilion Features
Shanxi Province will spotlight the province's history and culture, energy and future at the Expo. The entrance of the 600-square-meter pavilion will feature traditional Chinese wooden Dougong brackets fixed layer upon layer. Inside, visitors will be able to explore Shanxi's World Heritage sites - the Yungang Grottoes, the ancient city of Pingyao and Mount Wutai. Its traditional culture such as paper-cutting and piyingxi (shadow puppet play) will also be on display. With the theme of civilization and energy, the province aims to show its splendid history,current development and future planning to the world.

概况
展馆外形以山西最能体现古代智慧的元素——“门楼”为主要视觉符号，以节能环保的粉煤灰砖和LED灯为主要材料，组成变幻的外墙图案，分别展示山西世界文化遗产、非物质文化遗产以及黄河、太行等地的民俗、民情风貌。馆内分为“人文•城市之路”、“能源•城市之光”和“和谐•城市之梦”三部分，按照城市发展脉络，全面展示山西的人文历史、能源科技与和谐未来。通过山西传统元素与现代高科技手段的完美结合，充分展现山西悠久的历史及深厚的文化底蕴、经济社会发展的新面貌和未来发展的美景。
