谁说低碳生活就不时尚了？草编系列一直是夏天最清爽的选择，像草编包、草编帽、草编鞋，都能很好地体现自然清新的气质。那么，“草编”系列在英语是怎么表示的呢？

Straw plaiting is a method of manufacturing textiles by braiding straw. Straw is plaited to produce products including hats and ornaments.
草编工艺指用稻草来编织物品，包括帽子和装饰物。

上文中的straw plaiting就是“草编”的意思，plait有“辫子‘编辫子”的意思，我们也可以用straw-weaving来表述。草编工艺品多种多样，可以用来做垫子：door and table mats’床垫，mattress；帽子，bonnets and hats；以及一些遮挡物和覆盖物，这一类物品有一个有趣的名字：straw-mosaic，mosaic就是我们常说的马赛克。
