In Mexico, there are lots of markets outside. You can buy anything from clothes to a pet puppy! It is great fun to walk around these markets -- but not when it is raining!

In Thailand, there are floating markets! In these markets, people buy and sell things in boats on a river. Some boats sell bananas or coconuts. Others will sell you lunch! But you can only go shopping when you're in a boat too.

It is also fun to walk around flea markets. You can buy second-hand things at these markets, like old furniture. Sometimes this furniture is worth a lot of money when you fix it up.

Garage sales are also a kind of market. They are popular in America. People have garage sales outside their houses when they wont to sell things. Most things at garage sales are second-hand.
