1. moron: 笨蛋，蠢货。

2. mug：公开行凶抢劫，打劫。也可以指（在舞台上或摄影机前）扮鬼脸，扮怪相。比如caught a glimpse of his ugly mug

在英式英语中，mug up on something就是指“突击式学习”。这里的mug up就是“死记硬背”。

3. scooter: 小型摩托车，也称为motor scooter。

4. have a relationship with: 常用来指男女感情关系，这里利兹是说“我爱上披萨了”。

5. muffin top: a roll of fat visible above the top of a pair of women's tight-fitting low-waisted pants，腰部赘肉的形象说法，就是我们平时说的“游泳圈”。

6. unbutton: 解开纽扣。类似的表达方式有unclasp（解开扣子），uncap（脱掉帽子，打开瓶盖），unfasten（解开，松开）。

7. self-loathing: 自我憎恨的，厌恶自己的。

8. be through with: 完成，抛弃。利兹说I'm just through with the guilt. 意思是“我只是把内疚感抛之脑后”。

9. attagirl: （对女性表示鼓励或钦佩）好样的。

10.leg room: （车辆、剧院等座位的）伸脚余地。

例如：I don't agree. The sedan has a much bigger engine and more leg room. I would be much better spending a little more.（我不这样认为。这辆轿车有一个较大的发动机以及能供腿部有较大的活动空间。多花一点点钱对我来说也是值得的。）
