M: I'm here for afacia care.I made an appointment over the phone for 2 p.m.. My name is Mary.
B: Wait a minute, please. Let me check. Right. Which facial would you like? We have five different kinds of facial.
M: Hmm....Which one do you recommend? My skin is a little bit oily4 and I always use soaps to wash.
B: My god! No wonder you have acne.I strongly recommend the second one.
M: What kind of facial is that?
B: The facial is designed to release tense muscles.
M: What are the ingredients in your mask?
B: It's a combination of oatmeal, yogurt and honey. Oatmeal can move dead skin from your face. Yogurt can soften the skin, and honey is one of the best natural humectants.
M: Sounds great! I'II enjoy it.

1.make an appointment 是指“预约”，后面可以接with sb.。
2.这里出现了清辅音向浊辅音变化的现象，/t/的发音类似于/d/。
3.do you 连读时do 的元音省略不读，连读为/dju:/，混音后读作/dʒu:/。
4.soft 形容词加en 变为相应的动词，类似的词还有deepen, broaden, weaken 等。

wait a moment——清辅音向浊辅音变化
/t/是清辅音，/d/是相应的浊辅音。当/t/后面的音为元音，并与该元音组成非重读音节时，其发音类似于/d/。但实际上这个音不是/d/，而是此/d/轻得多的音，只需舌尖向/t/的位置轻轻一触即可。
