B: And I'm Pernais from Jamaica.

A: Pernais, what's your favorite animal?
 
佩纳斯，你最喜欢什么动物？
 
B: My favorite animal is cats.
 
我最喜欢的动物是猫。
 
A: Why?
 
为什么？
 
B: Because they are cute but at the same time they're very independent. How about you?
 
因为猫咪非常可爱，而且它们也很独立。你呢？
 
A: I don't really like cats.
 
我不太喜欢猫。
 
B: That's too bad.
 
那太糟糕了。
 
A: Because they are too independent. My favorite animal to eat is chicken but if we're talking about cuteness, monkeys, you can see on my tee shirt I love monkeys. But actually I don't like real monkeys, they're a bit scary. I prefer cartoon monkeys.
 
因为它们太独立了。我最喜欢吃的动物是鸡，不过如果我们讨论的是可爱的动物，那我喜欢猴子，你可以看到我穿的T恤上就有猴子图案，我喜欢猴子。不过其实我并不喜欢真的猴子，它们有点儿吓人。我更喜欢卡通猴子。
 
B: So you only like tee shirt monkeys?
 
所以你只喜欢T恤上那种猴子图案？
 
A: Exactly, exactly.

B: I understand.
