Vince Gill于1957年4月12日出生于美国奥克拉荷马州的诺曼(Norman)，原名Vince Grant Gill。
Vince Gill至今总共获得了十五座葛莱美奖，不但远远超过任何一个乡村艺人，更创下了连续十年都得奖的空前纪录。除了在音乐方面的成就，Vince Gill还热心公益，积极参加各种慈善活动。
