Dear Jenny,
I can’t tell you how happy I was to get your letter. I miss you terribly. Fortunately, I’ve been pretty busy getting settled, which takes my mind off of my loneliness. But every time I have a moment to myself, I think about you.
I also wish my company would assign me to Taiwan permanently, but it’s unlikely right now. At least I don’t have to stay here permanently, either. What keeps me going is the thought that in a few months you’ll be in my arms again.

我无法形容收到你的信我有多开心。我非常想念妳。幸运的是，我一直忙于安顿下来，这样一来让我比较不觉得孤单。但是每当我有自己的时间时，我总是想着你。
