近日有报道称中石油集团以远低于市值的价格为员工在北京购买了1000多所公寓，激起了民众的强烈抗议。

在上面的报道中，backroom deal就是"密室交易"，也就是暗中进行的交易。Backroom的意思是"秘密的，在幕后进行的"，例如：backroom politics(幕后政治活动).

除了密室交易外，我们还可以经常见到许多不同的"交易"，如："黑市交易"black market transaction，"现金交易"cash transaction，"实物交易"barter，"内线交易"insider trading，以及"转手交易"swing transaction等。
