Personally, I would like to say that the huge difficulty I have encountered is English listening.
As it is known, in China, we don’t have enough opportunities to communicate in English. I took two steps to overcome the difficulty. The first step I wanna say is dictation. In this way, I can increase my temporary memory and learn some new words. The second step is reading following the tape, by doing this, I can imitate the standard pronunciation and become familiar with the communication situation. The third step is talking with my foreign teachers, so I can practice my spoken English and thus improve my listening ability.

Personally, I would like to say that the school which is very impressive to me is Beijing University. It is one of the most famous universities in China. There are a couple of reasons to name. The first reason I wanna say is it’s beautiful, when I’m free, I can walk in the woods, smell the grass and flowers, listen to the birds singing, all of these make me feel relaxed. The second reason is there are a lot of foreigners, so I can make friends with them, we can have a get together, we discuss, we talk, we laugh, all of there make my life funny. So that’s why Beijing University is the very impressive to me.

Personally, I would like to say that the important thing I miss most when I’m away from home is the book “the lord of the rings”. There are a couple of reasons to name. The first reason I wanna say is I could learn a lot of English vocabularies and sentence structures from it, which are very useful in my preparation of GRE, thus I can save a lot of energy. The second reason is it would encourage me when I feel depressed and wanna give up, I want to be the hero in the story to reach the final destination by great efforts. So that’s why I miss the book “the lord of the rings” most when I’m away from home.

Personally, I would like to say that I like magazine most. There are a couple of reasons to name. The first reason I wanna say is there are a lot of funny stories in the magazine, so I can learn a lot of jokes and share them with my friends, which can improve my interpersonal and communication skills. The second reason is I can make friends with those who have the same love for magazines, and we can have a get-together. We talk, we laugh, we discuss, and all of these make my life funny. So that’s why I like magazines most.
