Following the end of college entrance exam on June 8, plastic surgeons report a staggering rise in the number of youngsters going under the knife.

6月8日高考结束后，外科整形医生接手的青少年整形美容手术量激增。

“整形手术”统称为plastic surgery，从事这一行的医生就是plastic surgeon(整形外科医生)。我们常说的“整容手术”其实只是“整形手术”的一种，英文为cosmetic surgery，而为了让自己变美接受整容手术就可以说go under the knife，也就是我们常说的“在自己身上动刀”， 比如：More and more women are choosing to go under the knife just to improve their appearance.(越来越多的女性为了提升自己的外表选择接受整形手术。)

高考后学生整容手术主要集中在面部整形(facial reshaping)方面，比如：割双眼皮手术(double-eyelid surgery)、隆鼻(nose job)以及祛斑(spot removal)等。其他常见的整容手术还有：隆胸手术(breast augmentations)、丰唇(lip enhancement)、脸颊上提整形(cheek lift)等。
