A trial (noun) A test 测试

如：We’re having a trial tomorrow and if it’s ok we’ll go ahead

我们明天测试一下，如果可以的话，就继续弄

A salary (noun) Money earned from working 工资

如：Her salary is low, she’s never got any money

她的工资很低，没什么钱。

Experience (noun) Knowledge gained from observing or directly undergoing something 经验

如：I have got a lot of experience in looking after children because I’ve got seven younger sisters!

我在照看小孩方面有很多经验，我有7个妹妹。

A stage (noun) A single step in a process 阶段

如：The first stage of the game is easy then the next stages get gradually more difficult

游戏的第一关很简单，越到后面越难。

Intrusive (adjective) Coming without an invitation 闯入

如：My sister is intrusive. She comes into my room without knocking

我妹妹没敲门就直接闯进来了。

To mention (verb) To refer briefly to something 提到

如：Don’t mention her new glasses! She hates them

不要说她的新眼镜了，她不喜欢。
