Mate (n.) - Colloquial term for friend. n. 伙伴，配偶，同事

如：He is looking for a wife but he hasn't found his ideal mate.

他正在寻找未来的妻子，但还没有找到理想人选。

The male hunts for food while his mate guards the nest.

雌性动物守巢时，雄性动物猎食。

Pushy (adj.) - Over-enthusiastic. adj. 强求的

如：He made himself unpopular by being so pushy.

他特别喜欢出风头，所以人缘不好。

Both (adj.) - Two of something. adj. 两者的

如：She kissed him on both cheeks.

Energetic (adj.) - Having a lot of energy. adj. 精力旺盛的，有力的，能量的

Invitation (n.) - An offer to take part in or attend something. n. 邀请，招待，邀请函，引诱，招致

如：He made a refusal of her invitation.

She may be offended if you don't reply to her invitation.
