shareholder (n.) - a person who owns shares in a company n. 股东，股票持有人

如：The shareholders were summoned to a general meeting.

那些股东被召集去叁加股东大会。

The principal shareholder ask for a meeting.

主要股东们要求召开会议。

to pop in (v.) - to go into a place for s short time 离开一小会儿去某地

如：She often pops in for coffee.

她常来喝杯咖啡。

old-fashioned (adj.) - not modern adj. 老式的，老派的，守旧的

to approve (v.) - to say that something is correct v. 批准，赞成，同意，称许

如：We can't approve of this sort of thing/these sorts of things/things of this sort.

我们不能赞同这种事。

You can join the class if your parents approve.

如果你父母同意，你可以参加这个班。

to pop the question (expression) - to ask somebody to get married 求婚
