One evening I was invited to dinner by a young man Ihad a crush on, a trumpeter. I was 17, and this wasmy first big date. There were candles and flowers onthe table, and soft music playing in the background.Although the conversation was all about music, Iwas desperately in love as only a 17-year-old can be,so I didn't mind.
