My Family

Gino: The world is changing, the family is changing, too.

Emma: What? What do you mean?

Gino: People will begin to like a small family, more and more children are single child . Do you know it?

Emma: One-child policy is not popular in China anymore. That is called a core family. Is it popular in our country?

Gino: I'm not sure. But I don't like such a family.

Emma: What kinds of family do you like best?

Gino: I like big family as my family.

Emma: Well, how many people are there in your family?

Gino: Five. Besides me.,I still have a brother and a little sister.

Emma: I like a traditional family, too. It's composed of many people, including uncle , aunt and cousin .

Gino: My ancestry came from Mexico several centuries ago. My grandfather claimed he was a descendant of noble birth .

Emma: Really?

Gino: I'm not sure. Maybe not. He always likes to crack a joke with me.

我的家族

基诺： 世界在变，家庭也在变。

艾玛： 什么？你是什么意思？

基诺： 现在人们喜欢小家庭。越来越多的孩子成了独生子女。你知道吗？

艾玛： 中国也不推崇独生子女政策了。那叫核心家庭。现在咱们国家开始流行独生了？

基诺： 我不是很确定。反正我不喜欢这种家庭。

艾玛： 那你喜欢什么样的？

基诺： 大家庭，像我家一样。

艾玛： 那你家多少人呀？

基诺： 5个，除了我之外。我还有一兄一妹。

艾玛： 其实我也喜欢传统式的家庭。有很多人组成，如姑姑叔叔和堂兄弟什么的。

基诺： 我的祖先是几个世纪前从墨西哥来的。我祖父常说他是贵族的后裔。

艾玛： 真的？

基诺： 我不确定。可能不是的。他常常和我开玩笑。
