Daily Dialogue
Traffic Jams
Philip: OMG. The traffic is crawling.
Albert: I think there's an accident ahead. We got stuck .
Philip: Unfortunately, it's traffic jam . Look, the traffic police man is coming.
Albert: I really hate crossroads .
Philip: Why? Long red light, huh?
Albert: Not just that. There're so many vehicles and pedestrians . I often get stuck when crossing crossroads, especially in rush hour .
Philip: So we need to obey the traffic rules , otherwise you may have an accident.
Albert: I know. But I still think we should do something to improve it.
Philip: Reducing private cars and using pubic transportation .
Albert: Yeah, our government should build more underpasses .
Philip: I agree with you. Oh, we're now running late.
Albert: I know. Let me take a look at the map. Why don't you take a different route ?
Philip: Sure. Let's do that even though we may have to take a longer way.
