Afternoon Tea

Su： Hello, Kim. I haven't seen you around for a few days.

Kim： Oh, I was on vacation most of last week. I'm still not at my best.

Su： Really? Why don't you join me for afternoon tea ? It'll be good for you!

Kim： Sure, why not? I could relax and gossip . Let me just grab my wallet. You certainly do look happy this morning.

Su： I am. Don't worry about getting your wallet. It's my treat.

Kim： This is a first! You must have good news.

Su： Sure. (At coffee-bar)

Kim： Barista, pull me a Mendeling . How about you?

Su： I haven't made up my mind yet. Which flavor should I drink? Mellow espresso, Bitter black coffee or Bland Blue Mountain , which one should I choose?

Kim： Oh, come on. You're suddenly some kind of coffee snob now?

Su： I studying various coffees , such as Ristretto.

Kim： What's a Ristretto anyway?

Su： It's basically a very strong espresso . Half the water pulled through the same amount of beans. Pure coffee essence.

Kim： Sounds like it must be just full of caffeine . I want one of those instead!

Su： You friend. It's about the flavor, not the fix. Why don't you just grind some caffeine pills and start doing lines?

下午茶

苏： 嗨，金。好几天没见到你了

金： 噢，上星期我大部分时间在休假。现在还不在状态呢。

苏： 真的？为什么不来跟我一起喝杯下午茶吧。对你有好处。

金： 好啊，何乐而不为呢？我可以借机休息和闲聊一下。等我拿钱包。今天早上你看上去真高兴。

苏： 我是高兴。别去拿钱包了。我请客。

金： 这可是头一回。你一定有好事了吧。

苏： 是呀。（到了咖啡店）

金： 吧台，给我来杯曼特宁。你呢？

苏： 我还没决定呢。我要喝哪种口味呢？芳醇的意式咖啡，有点苦的黑咖啡还是清淡的蓝山，选哪个呢？

金： 哦，来吧。你什么时候变成咖啡专家啦？

苏： 我最近正在研究各式的咖啡呢。像是芮思崔朵。

金： 芮思崔朵是啥东东？

苏： 基本上它是非常浓的浓缩咖啡。相同份量的咖啡豆，只加入一半的水。纯正咖啡精华。

金： 听起来一定充满咖啡因。我要换喝这种！

苏： 你这个咖啡鬼。这是为了香味，不是在追求快感。你何不干脆把咖啡因片弄碎，开始用鼻子吸算了。
