Paula： Hello, I am Paula of Marketing Department.

Evan： Hello, Paula. How much will our order from your factory be?

Paula： I'll be happy to get back to you with a detailed estimate in the next few days.

Evan： I'm afraid I can't wait that long. Can you at least provide me with available figure?

Paula： Well, I would need an idea of the quantity your order would be. About how many units would you need?

Evan： Just give me a valid figure for an order of 100 units.

Paula： Please give me a few minute to calculate…Our asking price should be about $80 per unit with an order of 100. Is that price acceptable to you?

Evan： All right. Shall we get down to the price now?

Paula： No problem

Evan： I think the price is a little bit higher; can you give me a discount?

Paula： Would an order of only 100 units, it'll be difficult to work within that kind of budget. You know our product has a steady demand in market and the quality is excellent, the price is reasonable. If you place more than 1000 units, we'll give you rock-bottom .

Evan： Well, since this is the first transaction between us, we'd like to place a trial order of 1000 units to promote our relationships.

Paula： Good.
