Bidding

Arthur： We're willing to participate in the bid which you advertised in China Daily. Would you please tell me the detail of the tender conditions?

Mr. Hunter： You will receive the detailed information about volume of the project and the cost.

Arthur： OK! Our company is eligible bidders, and I'm sure that we'll do our best to win the bidding. Should we pay earnest money?

Mr. Hunter： Yes, you are supposed to pay it on time. If you don't furnish a tender bond on time, your submission will not be considered. Besides, you also should provide detailed engineering document of the goods.

Arthur： Where do we submit the tender?

Mr. Hunter： To our office which is on the third floor.

Arthur： Oh, I see. By the way, is tender-opening done publicly?

Mr. Hunter： Yes. All the bidders will be invited to join us to supervise the tender-opening. So far as we know, in the field, your company has lots of experience, and we hope you'll consider the tender seriously.

Arthur： OK! We will. Bye!

Mr. Hunter： Bye!

投标

亚瑟： 我们想参加你们登在中国日报上的招标。您能否和我说一说你们招标条件的细节？

亨特先生： 您将会收到招标通知信息，包括工程量、项目费用等。

亚瑟： 好的，我们公司是合格的投标者。我肯定我们会尽全力来赢得这次竞标。我们要交担保金吗？

亨特先生： 是的，你们应该按时交。如果你们没有按时交纳，那么你们的投标将不被考虑在内。除此之外，你们也应该提供货物的详细设计。

亚瑟： 我们在哪儿交投标书？

亨特先生： 在三层的办事处。

亚瑟： 我知道了，顺便问一下，这次是公开开标么？

亨特先生： 是的，所有的投标人都参加监督。据我们所知，贵公司在这方面很有经验。我们希望你们能认真考虑这次投标。

亚瑟： 好的，我们会的。再见！
