Spring Festival

Finn： Hey，Martha．I often hear of your husband，but I've never seen him.

Martha： Oh，yes．He just has come back from China.

Finn： Really? I have to finish my paper that is about the festivals of China.

Martha： Which festival do you want to know?

Finn： Which festival is important in China?

Martha： Let me see．Spring Festival，I really know some customs about it.

Finn： OK，Why not enjoy a cup of coffee and tell me something about the spring festival?

Martha： Well．The spring festival is commonly known as“Lunar New Year ”．According to an old Chinese story,“Nian”was a monster in ancient time.

Finn： OMG．What're traditional activities during spring festival?

Martha： In China，we can see the performance of lion dance and dragon dance everywhere．Almost every family will play fireworks. Now more and more people are concerned about pollution，they have dropped off.

Finn： Well．What did they do during New Year's Eve?

Martha： All the members of the family gather to enjoy a reunion dinner and that symbolizes harmony brings wealth ，everything goes well.

芬： 除夕他们都做什么？
