South Korean media have been reporting that a leading figure in the North Koreangovernment has been dismissed from his post. The man is Jang Sung-taek, the uncle of thecurrent North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

"So Jang Sung-taek is Kim Jong-un's uncle, and the husband of Kim Kyung-hee (who) was KimJong Il's sister. And so he's been in the system for a long time. And he's been a powerfulfigure for a long time. He was probably a most powerful person in North Korea. Yes, this wouldbe a huge shake up if this is true.
