105. Huo Yingdong 霍英东

HuoYingdong, a great and kind businessman who achieved a lot of successes in the modern society, died in September, 2006.

HuoYingdong was born in Hong Kong in May, 1923. Having been a worker, he helped to manage a small shop. And then he set foot in real estate, after which he established Macao Tourism 霍英东，著名的慈善商人，于2006年9月去世。他一生取得了相当大的成就。

Entertainment Company. In 1994 he was rewarded as honored PHD by American university. In 1995 he was rewarded as honored PHD in society by Hong Kong University. In 1995 he won the silver prize which was set up by The International Olympic Committee.

1923年5月霍英东出生于香港。他当过工人，帮着经营过小商店。之后他涉足于房地产事业，然后创办了澳门旅游娱乐公司。1994年被美国的一所大学授予人文学名誉博士学位。1995年被香港大学授予社会科学名誉博士学位。1995年获国际奥委会奥林匹克银质勋章。

What was most admired is that he was rewarded the Great Redbud Medal by Hong Kong government.

最令人钦羡的是他于1997年7月被授予香港特区政府大紫荆勋章。
