在这里用到了How do……compare,in your opinion?这个句型，表示…和…相比怎么样，是一种比较正式的说法。这个时候我们用到than这个词，than作为介词是宁愿，含有比较的意思在里面sth is more+adj+than也是很常用的用于偏爱的句型。

B: No, I’d rather stay at home than go out.

这句话的重点落在了would rather do than do上面
(1)rather than与would连用时，构成“would rather...than...”句式，意思是“宁愿……而不愿……”，表示主观愿望，即在两者之中选择其一。
