第十四课 Format格式化命令

1.For the most part, you will use the Format command to prepare floppy disks.

在多数情况下，你将用Format 命令处理软盘。

2.When you perform a sample format of a floppy disk, MS-DOS formats the disk for the drive's standard capacity——1.2MB in a 1.2-MB drive, 720 KB in a 720-KB, and so on.

当你对一张软盘进行简单格式化时，MS-DOS将它按驱动标准容量进行格式化，即1.2MB驱动器上格式化成1.2MB，720KB驱动器上将式化为720KB等等。

3.If the current drive is C and you want to formal a disk in drive A, type:C:\>format a:

如果当前驱动器是C，而你要在A驱动器上格式化一张盘，敲入C:\>format a:

3.If the disk is new: Formatting 1.2M

如果磁盘是新的：格式化成1.2M

4.Once the format begins, you see a status report telling you xx percent completed (xx is a number). When the disk is formatted, the report becomes.

Format complete Volume label (11 characters, ENTER for none)?

一旦格式化开始，你便可看到状态报告。告诉你百分之多少完成(xx 表示数目)。当格式化完成，就报告完成了。卷标(11个字符，敲ENTER键表示不设卷标)
