若语义需要，相互代词可用于所有格结构。如：
They know each other’s [one another’s] weak points. 他们都彼此了解对方的缺点。
顺便说一句，相互代词所有格后所修饰的名词有时用单数，有时用复数，注意以下几点：
1. 若接的是不可数名词，自然要用单数。如：
They have great concern for each other’s work. 他们很关心彼此的工作。
Those two are always copying each other’s [one another’s] homework. 那两个人总是互相抄袭作业。
2. 若接的是可数名词，则通常是用复数。如：
They held each other’s hands. 他们牵着彼此的手。
It was so dark that they couldn’t see each other’s faces. 天是那样黑，他们看不见彼此的脸。
但有时也可以用单数。如：
They broke off diplomatic relations and closed the embassies in each other’s country. 两国中断外交关系，并关闭了在对方国家的大使馆。
二、相互代词可以用作主语吗
相互代词在句子中通常只用作宾语，不能用作主语。正因为相互代词不能用作主语，所以由相互代词作宾语的句子也不能转换成被动语态。
另外，不仅each other 和one another不能用作主语，而且受each other’s, one another’s修饰的名词也不能用作主语。如：
他们寄给对方的信都及时送到了。
误：Each other’s letters arrived in time.
正：Their letters to each other arrived in time.
三、相互代词可以用作状语吗
前面说过，相互代词通常只用作宾语，不用作其他成分(当然也就不能用作状语)。如：
我们的意见并不总是一致的。
误：We don’t always agree one another.
正：We don’t always agree with one another.
四、相互代词可分开使用吗
有时each other和one another可分开使用，但意义不同。如：
Each wished the other to answer first. 每个人都希望对方先回答。
We each know how the other is getting along. 我们每人都知道对方的情况。
Planes took off one after another. 飞机陆续起飞。
The passengers embarked one after another. 乘客一个接一个地上了船。
