Universal Picture's "A Dog's Journey" topped the Chinese mainland box office Tuesday, according to the China Movie Data Information Network.

The comedy-drama film grossed 10.6 million yuan (about 1.53 million U.S. dollars) on the day, with a total box office reaching 112 million yuan in the five days since its debut.

这部喜剧片当天的票房收入为1060万元(约合153万美元)，上映5天，总票房达到1.12亿元。

It was followed by Hollywood's "Pokemon Detective Pikachu," which took in 9.86 million yuan on its 12th day of showing.

Coming in the third was Disney and Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame," which earned about 6.33 million yuan, bringing the total it generated in the Chinese mainland box office to 4.23 billion yuan in the 28 days since its premiere.
