At least seventeen people are confirmed dead as more than 200 firefighters tackle the blaze at Grenfell Tower in west London.

The fire broke out shortly before 1am on Wednesday at Grenfell Tower in Latimer Road near Notting Hill.

今年23岁的哈利德 萨朗（Khalid Sarang）住在附近的街区，他看到了燃烧的大楼，“有一家四口被困在大楼里，他们一直在不停的尖叫，这简直是人间炼狱”。
目击者： 男子身上起火，从楼上滚落。
另一名目击者则表示，他看到一名起火的男子从楼上滚落。这名男子用手电筒打出了SOS的求救信号。“他一直在喊救命！但是没人去救他。他从窗户里扔出一个床垫，他当时身上已经起火了，然后跳了下来。”
目前，救援工作还在进行中。
当地时间2017年6月15日，英国伦敦，民众在发生火灾的大楼留言墙上写下鼓励的话语。
