One woman said to another, "My daughter is so smart that she was walking at 7 months old! "

The other replied, "That's no big deal. My son was so clever at that age he made us carry him."

一个女人对另一个女人说：“我女儿非常聪明，她七个月就会走路了!”

表示几岁用"...years old"，但是小婴儿还没满一岁，所以把years(年)改成month(月)就可以表达几个月大了;句中的so..that...表示“如此…以致于”，在口语上that通常会省略，如下面第三句便省略了that。

孩子通常一岁左右才开始会走路，所以这个妈妈当然觉得自己的孩子很聪明，学得比一般孩子快。
