　　这两个词都作"是否"解，引导宾语从句时，二者可互换。

　　如：

　　(1)当whether与or not连成一个词组时。

　　如：

　　I don't know whether or not he would come for our help.

　　我不知道他是否来帮助我们。

　　Whether this is right or not, I can't say.

　　Whether you will go is none of my business.
